Controlling a multi-ton electric streetcar requires situational awareness and precise throttle regulation. Press W / Up Arrow to accelerate along the rail line, and press S / Down Arrow to engage electromagnetic service and emergency brakes before arriving at pedestrian zebra crossings.
Steer your tram around tight rail switches using A / D or Left / Right Arrows. On mobile devices, responsive touch buttons and virtual throttle sliders adapt dynamically to screen orientation.
🔔 Bell Combos & City Points Multipliers
Press the Spacebar to trigger the iconic dual-frequency tram warning chime. Alerting distracted pedestrians, delivery courier e-bikes, and tourists lingering on the track corridor clears your path and chains consecutive alerts into score multipliers of up to 5× Bell Combo.
Successfully finishing your simulated daily route awards in-game non-monetary City Points and gold coins. Use these earnings in the Depot Garage to unlock historical tram skins, headlight enhancements, and handling upgrades.
About the Simulator: A Satirical Parody of Prague MHD
Václavák 2027 is an independent, satirical arcade parody created to celebrate Prague’s public transit network (Městská hromadná doprava – MHD). The game humorously depicts the historic return of tram tracks to Wenceslas Square, offering a retro arcade tribute to Czech engineering, urban folklore, and daily city life.
While the gameplay features cartoon arcade physics, high-speed drifts, and comical encounters with street performers, stag parties, beer enthusiasts, and selfie-taking tourists, the simulator serves an essential educational role in pedestrian safety.

In Prague and throughout the Czech Republic, public transit trams have absolute right-of-way over pedestrians at all marked crosswalks. Because loaded trams weigh between 30 and 42 tons and operate with low wheel-to-rail friction coefficients (μ ≈ 0.15–0.25), they cannot stop instantly. In real life, never step onto tram tracks in front of an approaching tram!
